WHAT IF THE CHILD CAN NOT ATTEND REGULAR EDUCATION?

What if the child can not attend regular education?
What if the child can not attend regular education? He or she simply can not keep up with the pace, learns in another way and develops at a different pace?

Can not join regular education

My oldest son has spent more than a year at a Kentalis school due to a language development disorder. He is also a sensitive person. My youngest daughter goes to the Tandem next year because she has trouble learning. My youngest son goes to group 1-2, but in the playroom she thought it might be wise to have him investigate too.
My oldest daughter is fine with the pace and education system.
So within my family 1 in 4 that rescues within regular education ...

Press, overcrowded or "just"?

Is overcrowding, what you hear more often, a hype? Are these children busy or are they busy? Or can we speak better about 'overinfo' from the area? If a child is transferred with input, everything goes too fast? Was it different earlier and can children no longer fight?
In any case, we see that happening now. Kids with a label develop strategies and abusive behaviors to be different with them. Are they really so different? I think they are just child and especially oneself, with an exceptional talent. They only need to learn how to use that talent and make the most of it. These children often also have a lot of creativity and originality. In my opinion, this talent is sometimes hampered, which causes the child to fail. Every child has his own strength!

Again together to school

The WSNS project gave students the opportunity to refer to different types of special education. Unfortunately, the costs are partly due to the high costs for student transport. One wanted to ensure that every student received care at a school as close to home as possible. Keep as many students in regular primary education as possible ...
My son and daughter would be having a problem sitting on a cluster 4 and cluster 3 school. If they do it very well, they will be returned to regular education. But is it that wise now that they are doing it very well at that other special school? Do not they get a relapse? Is it not back to you again? He is just as good in his skin, at once it's all wrong and he becomes unhappy?

Special education with a reason

He did not fit in regular education for a reason. The pace and level that needs to be met (in regular education) does not really go down. Appropriate education can work perfectly if there is space, time, resources and possibilities. In order to be able to offer what the child needs with special needs.
Many schools can not train careers because the classes are very large and the teacher has no extra hands in class. Reject the work pressure once again, unimaginable anyway? A beautiful (theoretical) plan is being developed (often a money issue), but in practice it does not seem to work.
Keep alert that the individual child and his needs continue to receive attention in education. "The child may just be a child".

Individualization and digitization

What does our world look like in this era of individualization and digitization? What about the demands that society presents to us and our children? Our world becomes increasingly complex for children. Parents and children lay the bar high because society asks many of us and our children. Society is in a hurry, everyone is struggling with time. Education needs to be adapted to the demands of time and society in which we live. We have to prepare the children for the 21st century. It's difficult if we do not know what the future brings us.
Why not live in here and now? I notice my son (and children I coach) that they are literally opposed to society (and the education system). I have the idea that society is not entirely adapted for children who learn otherwise and develop or develop in a different way. We are forced to make choices in what we want to do, know, or be. And those choices must also be answered. And if we just do those things as we do, what then? Science has long proved that children have different needs. I see this with both my son and the children I'm coaching back. They do not want to go along that trail, but walk a whole different way. Unfortunately, they often do not get the opportunity or opportunity there.

Perform above average?

If you do not like a backlog but above average, then you are good as a child.
Is the child then "different" or is it just himself? ... Does it not fit the requirements of the (performance) society and then the education that meets those requirements?
It is therefore the quality of what the child is looking at from parents, teachers, the television, computer, boyfriends and all other inputs, which determine the extent to which the child's talents develop. Stress is disadvantageous. Positive is an environment where the child feels safe, where emotional support exists, where intellectual and social challenges are encountered and where the natural tendency of children to experience new things is sufficiently satisfied.
It's not good if a child has to walk on his toes. Children hear a lot to play. (Jelle Jolles, professor of Vrije Universiteit).

First orchard of Haba: tested!

I'm from a family of real gaming fans.  And then I do not mean 'games', but the  old school  companions  games  .  Cozy but fanatic with all around the board.  And now that I am a mother of a toddler and a toddler, I have discovered that there are also a lot of fun games for that age.  For example, we learned a little while ago about Haba's First Orchard.  A game by which my boys are now also infected with the game virus. Win together or lose together Eerste Boomgaard is the perfect game to announce your children with games.  The rules of the game are easy to understand and for a two-year-old child.  What I like so much is that you do not play against each other but with all of them.  There are four stuffed fruit trees to be picked empty before the raven reaches the orchard.  The fruit can be picked by throwing a dice.  Throw green, then you put an apple into the basket, with blue a plum and so on.  But if y...

Let's Play Out!

It has been a trend for some years, but children are less likely to play outside.  That's not a good news because playing outside is not only healthy and educational but also fun.  Let's all play together together! How often do children play outside?  And how does that happen? If we can believe British research (read well: British, which does not apply to Flanders and the Netherlands)  , children are on average less than prisoners.  For example, 26% of children in question would play out for less than half an hour a week.  That's really little.  This trend would be explained by various causes.  On the one hand, it appears that parents are more cautious and see more dangers in outdoor games, on the other hand, electronic toys such as tablets are an attractive alternative for children to simply stay in.  Some researchers also say that more school work leads to less outdoor games.  A lack of safe playgrounds or a quiet street does not ...
